Guess Who is 10?

My son-shine is reaching a significant milestone—double digits! 

As Jaden turns 10, my heart overflows with joy and gratitude. This marks a decade of parenting, guided by grace and love from above. God has been so gracious!

If you have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jaden, you know just how sweet and kind-hearted he is. From the very first moment I held him in my arms, he has filled my life with so much love and kindness. What strikes me most about him is his maturity beyond his years. We can engage in deep, meaningful conversations that transcend his age barriers. With him, I forget I am with a child. He has been such a loving and kind big brother to his sisters, he sets a wonderful space to share love in our family.

These past 10 years have been a journey of growth, both for Jaden and myself. I embarked on motherhood with uncertainty, yet Jaden has been my constant source of comfort and reassurance. He mirrors my traits, displaying passionate emotions and a keen sense of organization—You should see his bed and wardrobe!

Jaden has a thirst for knowledge and is insatiable, this means endless questions and constant research of different things. This curiosity nurtures his intelligence and wisdom, traits that make me immensely proud of my Lituman. Like any parent, there have been moments of discipline and guidance, the rod has had to be used and the time-outs but through it all, I am glad we have made it through. Funny thing- His sisters have character developed me so much, I keep thinking I had it so easy with the young man.

We have navigated through milestones and tough conversations, including "The Talk," with openness and understanding. His curiosity after watching us have 3 more babies led to us having to tell him how babies are made and are born- Don't even ask how it went... I love the fact that Jaden knows he can confide in us, seek comfort, and trust in our unwavering love. I know all the girls he likes and those ones who like him- I can't believe we are here now. I am gearing up for all this with grace.

 I remember the first time he called me "Mama" so vividly; it still echoes in my heart. I recall the overwhelming emotions that brought tears to my eyes. Since then, I have heard that endearing name called out a million times over the years—multiplied by three because he has sisters. Each time I hear it, it serves as a profound reminder of the deep and unbreakable connection we will always share. The responsibility that God bestowed on me when He chose Jaden and His sisters for me.

Dearest Jaden,

As we embark on the journey ahead, transitioning through adolescence and into adulthood, I am

confident that our bond will only grow stronger. Babz, you are my pride and joy, the love of my life (will sort this with your dad)-My heartbeat. Your wisdom and brilliance light up my world and your warm hugs are a source of comfort that I cherish dearly- I know they will soon reduce- but I sure cherish them.

As you step into this new chapter of life, know that I will always be here—for the good times and the challenges that lie ahead, I will be here, to support and guide you. May God keep blessing you, and may He continue to shower you with favor, guiding your path with grace.

Happy 10th birthday, my dearest Jaden. Today and every day, you are loved beyond measure. Here is to the next decade of adventures, laughter, and love—together.
