Happy New year friends!! It feels like I have been a stranger here for the past 3 years. Popping in once in a while then going back to my hiding place. I have been growing.
You know the growth that comes with some stretching and pulling? The one that comes with some cutting and pruning? Yes, that kind of growth has been happening. Once in a while I stand by the mirror and I can barely recognize the woman on the other side. I used to see a girl the one I was used to know but now I see a woman who is a whole wife, a mother of 4, a business owner… balancing it all. Am so proud of her!!! She has come from so far!!!
2024 is here with us. I remember watching the Flash season 1 and wondering how 2024 would be. When Barry ran into the future. It would stir up emotions of curiosity in us 10 years seemed such a long way ahead but here we are!! We made it by God’s grace. There is a reason and purpose why we made it here.
My lituMan turns 10. Am super excited about that. In fact there’s someone more excited than I am- His sister. I have been looking back to these past 10 years, how far we have come. How fast he has grown. Mostly I can not believe it. I keep telling one of my friends that I still remember him in my tummy. His strong kicks and movements… and now here we are almost sharing shoes. God has been so so faithful. I fell so deep in love with this boy.
I have so so much to share this year. 2023 saw the growth of our litu miracle. She is so precious and it’s been wonderful watching her grow. Miss Wendo has been such a delight to raise. Girls are surprisingly so opinionated am still getting used to it. I want to share the surprises I have experienced so far.
God has been our Rapha. I want to share how the journey of healing has been. Hitting rock bottom and rising again. It’s been a good one for lack of a better word and we have experienced the mercies of God.
