Letter #13 Fight for love

We turned 18 months. That's a year and a half of life together. I do not lie when I say it has been amazing because in all possible ways it really has. We have had crazy days- you know the ones I get to his last nerve or he gets to mine. Most of them we are so glad we did this. We are happy we get to do life together. That we make each other better with each passing day Here we are.. just the two of us married-in this marriage. God being the glue that keeps us together.

I love my husband. Strength fails me sometime and am not the best version of me. Sometimes am not the woman he married but he still chooses me each morning... That is one of the reasons I love him so much. Even in my worst he never gives up. He ensures he brings out the best of me and cheers me on.

We have learned to be intentional, marriage is work. We keep tilling.. yes each and every day. Only us know what we want and where we are headed. So it's on us to work it out. It's on us to drive the vision and ensure we get to fulfill it. It's on us to fight for what we believe in and the marriage we want.

Happy Anniversary Beau. I got you just like you got me.
