This post should have had the privilege to be titled "hello 26". I have been over the moon and looking forward to this day. It's finally here and I am up early enough so it makes a big difference.
I feel like its new year's... av got that feeling like i need to write down resolutions and go over last years. I should have jumped up and down and screamed at midnight but i dozed off on the couch and midnight went by without any recognition. Am so very excited, mostly grateful to God for an added year and amazing blessings my way. For a loving family-the beau and our lituman.. plus our little miracle. Am so grateful i get to live this year, - get to do new things and fulfill a few things here and there. But mostly i get to meet my baby and do the nurturing. 26 looks good on me already and i sure cannot wait to live it out. I love the book of Psalms and I have been pondering on:
90:12-17 So teach us to number our days, that we may cultivate and bring unto You a heart of wisdom.
Turn Oh Lord- from Your fierce anger-, how long will it be? Be compassionate toward Your servants-revoke Your sentence.
O satisfy us with Your loving Kindness in the morning-now, before we grow older-That we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Make us glad in proportion to the days you have afflicted us, and the years we have ssuffered evil.
Let your work-the signs of Your power-be revealed to Your servants and Your-Glorious-majesty to their children.
And let the -gracious-favor of the Lord our God be on us, Confirm for us thee work of our hands-Yes confirm the work of our hands.
I fell in love with verse 12,14,16 and 17, it is my prayer that I will learn from the Lord to number my days.. that He shall satisfy me with His kindness before am a grandma.. i will see His glorious power and so will my children, and God shall continually confirm the work of my hands. I shall not work alone nor walk alone.
That is how my 26th birthday is folding out and am excited.
