February always gets to me, so you can be sure to get a few articles here and there more than usual. Its my birthday month and am so excited. I take it not for granted that i get to add 1 more year by the end of the mont. (Btw am accepting all types and kinds of gifts-can i send my number?)
Pregnancy is an empowering season in a woman's life. It takes hold of you from your inner being to the outer one. Theres no way you go through it and come out the same. It gets you growing.
When i learnt i was growing a baby.. (sounds so superhuman ehh?)my intention was to share the journey from the start to end-but life happened and I just could not. I have been excited and so scared at the same time. Scared because I have only loved Lituman and been his mother and now someone else will come and i will have to share that love between 2 litu people that i helped make (i know.. am a super human)... but i have come to learn I will love them equally i have more than enough love in my heart. I am also scared about being a mother of two... am used to the lituman who is as free as a bird and now suddenly i will have to think on how to care for two litu people. Ensure they are bathed and fed on time and still keep my head. Scary isn't it?? What has encouraged me is the fact that my mum and mum-in-love made it... and they had more babies.
Excited... well you know- I love little babies, they are cute and soft and they smell good. You get to dress them in litu cute outfits and take nice photos for future purposes. Beau gets to share in the joy and caring unlike right now... and the lituman finally becomes a big brother. He can't wait to meet and hold the baby and apparently play. I can't wait to breastfeed this litu one- and then watch them grow. Am excited anf looking forward to see whose fingernails s/he picks and how they smile and laugh and also cry.
My excitement can not be contained. I am counting down these weeks to when i see my litu baby. The baby made of love.
I have learnt so many lessons in the past 30weeks and i will be sure to share a few in the remaining weeks.
