May happens to be The mother's month and I am blessed to be a mummy to one lituman. This mothers day we had a special dinner, made by the boys.. (precious moments), Topped with loads of kisses from my boys and the lights went off so we had a candle lit dinner- how sweet. Forgive me for being behind time, too many things going on. I loved the challenge that was doing the rounds on social media and I want to share it here today. Karibuni.
In Honor of Mothers Day:
1. Epidural? No. I knew about it, but my mum would hear nothing of it " What if ???" the questions were endless and she gave birth to 4 kids without it and lived through the pains. Enhe who was I?
2. Induced? No. And I thank God I didn't.
3. C section? I prayed against it the moment I learned I was pregnant. Reason being.. I knew I had exams immediately after the baby was born so i had no time to sit and heal as i miss my exams. Well God heard that prayer.
4. Father in the room? Yes. The beau had to be there I needed that support.
5. Know the sex beforehand? Of course yes. I needed to shop the right colors plus we had the expectation that it was a girl until the kicking was to hard so we had to confirm.
7. Birth Date? 20th March 2014 at 12:04 am.
8. Morning sickness? No. It was enough that no one knew there was a bun in the oven so God gave me that gift.
9. Cravings? First trimester- Ugali and Sukuma wiki, I now understand why our lituman loves that meal. Then came fanta orange face plus bread i would take a whole loaf alone- so my mum would buy two one for them and the other for me- us. Then the icecream face- i had loads of icecream oh my, thank God for awesome girlfriends who understood this and made sure there was enough.
10. Pounds Gained? 13kgs
11. Sex of the baby? A bouncy little boy
12. Place you gave birth? M Pishah Hospital. Really cool place with awesome services and lovely lovely humans.
13. Hours in labour? 12 CRAZY hours.
14. Baby's weight? 3.3Kgs
15. Baby's Name? Jaden Kavita Muange.
16. How old is your baby today? 38Months 3yrs 2months.
17.My age then? 22 yrs old.
