Baby Series #3

Me; Shee, I have been in pain all morning and it seems to be increasing with each second.
Shee: Are you serious? We need to call mum.
me: No, I will be fine lets wait until 2. (Starts crying)
Shee: (Has to grow up and be the bigger person.. then calls mum and updates her) Msoh wacha kulia sasa nyamaza na you go shower.

Me; Hey, I think the baby is coming today.
Beau: Are you serious ama you are pulling my leg.
I had pulled his leg a few times plus the baby was due in 2 weeks.
Me: (Starts crying) Lets meet in hospital.

The moment I realized that my baby would show up... I cried my heart out. Mostly because the pain was just too much and I thought I couldn't bare it. I had no idea that was not it yet, by the time 6 came there were no more tears just a face and greater pain, The journey to hospital was fine it went by so fast in a short while we were in hospital and so much was happening. Shee was busy teasing me after my water broke, my mum couldn't bare the sight  of me in pain and Beau had his heart in his mouth.. hehe.

By 11pm I wanted a C.S because I thought I would die. .We named him Jaden because God heard prayers, there was a complicated issue during his birth and with each hour we prayed for his safety we prayed that he would be safe and we would all make it and God heard us. By 12;04 I had my little one in my arms and the pain was gone... pure joy, too much cuteness and so much peace Then the excitement of being a mum caught up and I couldn't sleep so I texted all my friends called my mum to tell her how lucky I am to be her daughter and took loads of photos.

The lituman is my delight, he has taught me to love genuinely, to be intentional in everything I do. To get answers to any kind of question and to laugh at the craziest things. I love watching him grow and am daily proud of the man he is turning out to be.

Two tiny feet,
That wave in the air...
Two tiny hands,
That tug at your hair..
And an adorable little face,
A bundle of joy to love & embrace.

A cute baby boy
To cuddle and squeeze,
To pamper and play with
And bounce on your knees...

Tiny fingers, tiny toes
Little itty bitty clothes.
Teddy bears and smiles of joy
Oh! my its my love JADEN.

Love,
Muthoni Muange
